The record starts here. Ve runs on any Mac with macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon
or Intel, and is built on Chromium 151. Earlier builds stayed inside the team, so
this entry lists what you get rather than what moved.

* \[Feature] **Sign in and workspaces**: Sign in with any Google or Microsoft
  account, then join the workspace your team already has or create your own. If
  you've signed in before, Ve offers the account back to you and goes straight
  through without asking again.
* \[Feature] **Bring your old browser across**: Import bookmarks, 90 days of
  history and saved logins during setup, from Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi,
  Opera, Arc, Dia, Comet and most other Chromium browsers. Cookies and open tabs
  follow from Settings, so the accounts you were signed into stay signed in.
* \[Feature] **Chat**: Ask Ve about the page you're on. It gets the address, the
  title and anything you've selected. Chat runs against a process on your own
  Mac, and you can keep several chats going at once without them treading on
  each other.
* \[Feature] **Bring your own model**: Sign in with ChatGPT, Grok, GitHub
  Copilot or Kimi and Ve uses the subscription you already pay for. For anything
  else, including Claude, paste an API key. Ve has no plan of its own and nothing
  to pay for.
* \[Feature] **Memory**: Ve keeps what it learns on your Ve account. Browse it,
  search it, import what another assistant already knows about you, and delete
  any of it.
* \[Feature] **Password Manager**: Ve fills credentials straight into sites.
  They stay on your Mac and are never given to the model.
* \[Feature] **Command bar**: Open tabs, recently closed and recent history in
  one search.
* \[Feature] **Tab switcher**: Ctrl Tab walks your tabs in the order you last
  used them, with a preview of each one.
* \[Feature] **One download for every Mac**: Ve is a universal build, so it runs
  on Apple silicon and Intel from the same file. You don't need to know which
  chip you have.
* \[Feature] **Automatic updates**: Ve checks on its own and shows a yellow
  Update button in the top strip when a new version is ready.
* \[Feature] **A background service that updates itself**: The part of Ve that
  answers chat runs on your Mac and updates on its own, without a new download.

  than `chrome://`, so `ve://home` is an address you can type.
