# Sign in and create a workspace

> Sign in with Google or Outlook, then join your team's workspace or start one.

Ve asks you to sign in before you browse. Everything after that depends on which
workspace you land in.

## Sign in

Two ways in: **Continue with Google** or **Continue with Outlook**. There is no
separate signup, and no password to remember. The first time you sign in, your
account is created.

Any Google or Microsoft account works, personal or work.

## Join or create a workspace

A workspace is where your work lives. Ve looks for one attached to your email
domain: if your team is already here, it offers to join theirs.

Sign in with a personal address, or from a company nobody has set up yet, and
there is nothing to match, so you create your own.

Creating one takes a moment while Ve sets it up and checks your access.

| You see                   | It means                            |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Your team is already here | A workspace exists for your domain  |
| Checking workspace access | Ve is confirming what you can reach |
| You're all set            | Setup is finished                   |

## Finishing setup

The last screen offers three things, all optional:

* Set Ve as your default browser. You can switch back at any time.
* Add Ve to the Dock.
* Share crash reports, bug reports and usage statistics.
