Ve doesn’t sell you a model. You bring a subscription you already have.
You can browse the moment you finish setup. Chat won’t answer until you’ve connected a model.

What you can connect

Anything else, Claude included, connects with an API key instead. Open Settings > AI, pick the provider under API key, and paste yours in. The key stays on your Mac.
Signing in with a Claude Pro or Max subscription isn’t available at the moment. Connect Claude with an Anthropic API key instead. It reaches the same models.

Connecting one

Pick your provider. What you do next depends on which one you picked. ChatGPT and Grok send you over to the provider to sign in and approve Ve, then bring you back. GitHub Copilot and Kimi give you a one-time code instead. Hit Copy code, then Open provider, sign in there, and paste the code in. Either way, Ve never sees your provider password. You sign in on the provider’s own site and it hands Ve a token.

What it costs

Nothing on our side. There’s no Ve plan, no billing and no credits. You keep paying your model provider whatever you already pay them, and that arrangement doesn’t change.

Where your prompts go

Once you’ve connected a provider, your chat messages reach it under your own account, exactly as they would in that provider’s own app.
