Settings > Shortcuts covering the three
permissions the Fn key needs. The list below is the full one.
Finding the list
Click your profile in the sidebar, then Settings, then Privacy. The list sits at the end of that page under Developer permissions. Use it when something you run from Ve, such as a command line tool or an automation script, needs macOS privacy access. Those tools inherit whatever Ve itself has been granted. What each permission covers
Reading the status
Each row carries a status pill. It says Checking while Ve resolves it, then settles on one of these.Check in Settings is not a way of saying no. It means Ve has no
trustworthy signal for that permission, so it declines to guess. Ve never
shows a grant it has not confirmed.
Microphone has a macOS check behind it as well, used when the browser cannot
answer. An undecided browser permission reads as Check in Settings rather than
as a grant.
